Spring Like Kinda Day...

Today the sun is shining bright, and the high is going to be upwards of 60F. Ski conditions are still good throughout the first part of the day. Later in the day it turns slushy, then icy when the sun goes down. Tomorrow we are expecting some rain, then hopefully with cooler temperatures it will turn into snow. Have a wonderful Saturday, we sure will!

Warm!

As of 8:30AM i have seen two people walking around in t-shirts. No doubt about it, today will be a warm day with a high of around 50F with a low of 28F. Conditions for skiing are good in the early morning and getting slushy later in the day. 40 km of trails have been groomed, with 15 km being groomed this morning.

Another Nice One!

Lots of sunshine and mild temperatures again today. The high will be 41F with a very slight chance of snow later in the day. Temperatures will dip to 21F by midnight tonight. About 15km of trails have been freshly groomed, and the Big Meadows ski area will be groomed later today. The boulder has been removed from the road, so the 198 is open to the lodge.

Wednesday

Today feels and smells like spring. As of 8AM it is 34F and there is a misting of clouds floating low by the Great Western Divide and slighlty over the resort.The high is supposed to be around 42F with a low of 30 later tonight. The road is currently closed to the resort due to a mini van sized boulder that fell onto 198. Call the lodge for escort times, and updated road conditions throughout the day.
